For about three years I was an aerospace engineer, two years and four months of it at Lockheed Martin, commanding spacecraft from the Rocky Mountains through ground stations in California, Australia, and Spain. About nine spacecraft. NASA gave me an award for that work.
Up there, nothing ships on a promise. You define what it has to do, you check every connection, and you prove it works before anyone depends on it.
In September 2017 I came home. Nine years in technology since: secure systems for healthcare and pharmacies, and the small businesses nobody had ever built properly for.
Olympia is where I'm from. Mink Construction is my family's company. I grew up around job sites, pay apps, and the paperwork that eats a contractor's evenings. That's the work I build for now: the phone that gets answered, the bid that goes out the same day, the invoice that gets paid.
