In Retail

A shop with a door loses more customers online than in the aisle. Google says you are open when you are closed, the product they wanted is not on the site, and the one-star review goes up before you have had coffee. Hours, stock, and events that are right everywhere a customer looks is the first fix, and it is not glamorous.

The second is the list. The customers who came in once are the cheapest customers you will ever get again, and most shops have no way to reach them. An email that goes out for the season, the restock, or the event brings them back without an ad budget.

One inventory, in the store and on the site, so a sale in one place moves the count in the other and nobody drives across town for something you sold yesterday.

Questions owners ask
We are a one-location shop. Is this overkill?
No. The pieces a one-location shop needs are small: correct listings, a list that gets a message, reviews that get a reply, and one count of what is on the shelf. Nothing you will not use.
Can we sell online without running a second business?
Yes, if the store and the site share one inventory and one order flow. That is the whole design; two systems is how shops end up overselling.
What about reviews?
Every review gets a reply, in your voice, within a day, and the customers who had a good visit get asked to leave one. Reputation is a system, not a mood.
